These FAQ's were setup
to help you in your application for an ADSL service from Tassienet. If
you require support for your ADSL service please read through the support
FAQ's or submit a support ticket via our helpdesk Q. How long does it take for a new ADSL service to be completed? The average time for a new ADSL connection is 4 days from the time you submit your application. Q. How long is the contract period with Tassienet? All Tassienet’s ADSL plans have an initial contract period of 6 months from the time the service is connected. There is a $150.00 termination charge from Tassienet for a customer to churn away to another ADSL provider, or to cancel their ADSL service, within the initial 6 month contract period. Q. What happens at the end of the 6 month contract period? At the end of the initial six month contract period you can either continue on a month to month basis or you can cancel the service at no penalty. Tassienet requires one month notice to cancel your service. Q. What payments methods are available and how often do you invoice? Tassienet preferred payment method of your account is by direct debit from your nominated bank account However we also accept Bpay, Direct Deposit and Cheques. Once your ADSL service has been activated, Tassienet will debit your account pro rata of the first months access charge plus any installation fees that you incur or invoice you for those amounts. Thereafter Tassienet will debit your account for the monthly access fee
on the 1st working day of each month for that months access charge. If you are paying by invoice you should ensure that payment is made by the 1st of each month to avoid suspension of the service and any restoration and late fees. Q. How do I know how much I have downloaded? Tassienet provides a usage meter that is updated each day and is located in the your members area. Q. Do you issue invoices. Yes. We issue invoices on the first working day of each month and these can be accessed via your members area. Q. What is the easiest way to sign up The quickest and easiest way to sign up to Tassienet ADSL is to use our ADSL order form. All your details are automatically put into our database and your order is submitted to our supplier within minutes. Tassienet will keep you updated with the progress of your application via your preferred method of communication. Q. Will you assist me in setting up my modem? Tassienet require you to be able to connect to your ADSL modem and make the relevant changes to be able to connect to Tassienet's service. In most cases this simply means changing the username and password in the appropriate section of your modem. You can find self help documents in our helpdesk (login required). If you are not comfortable making those changes Tassienet can make a service call to your residence and connect you to the service for a minimal charge. Contact Tassienet to ask.
